Motorola SB6120 SURFboard DOCSIS 3.0 eXtreme Cable Modem SpeedTest

Just received my Motorola SB6120 today. Setup was extremely easy, just plug it in, make a quick call to Comcast, give them the MAC ID on the modem and all is good. The speed tests speak for themselves, ~2x faster than the DOCSIS 2.0 Motorola 5120 I had before. I'll have to test the modem a bit more on downloads just to make sure these speed test results aren't just initial bursts that tapper off.

Sennheiser RS130 + iPhone Remote app + iTunes = Geek Erection :)

Yesterday I received my Sennheiser RS130 headphones from Amazon.com's black friday sales... been eyeing these for some time and the price was too good to pass up. Unfortunately, you have to charge the batteries for 16hrs prior to the first use so I had to wait till today to test them out. The charging cradle is rather convenient (and fairly common among newer wireless headphones), just set the headphones on the wall mountable stand and your cans are charging via the metal brackets. Haven't had time to test these out too much but I'm loving the convenience already. With a 100m range, I can walk around anywhere in my basement with these ear muffs hugging my head -- add the iPhone Remote app and iTunes to the mix, I can actually be in my back yard and still browse my playlists even though I had Birdman's new beat 'Money To Blow' on repeat most of this evening. :)
